Albarracin

From Teruel via the "A1512" to Albarrracin. On this way the landscape varied a lot, it was a beautiful drive. As I was approaching Albarracin I could see from the distance the walls climbing above the medieval town.
From 1012 to 1104 Albarracin was the seat of a tiny islamic state, later from 1170 to 1285 it was an independent christian kingdom.
It's a wonderful dramatic looking place in a very remote setting.
After a stroll to the narrow streets of this old town, I went on to Cuenca via a moutain pass.
