The following day I explored Figueres, a small town, which is the birthplace of Salvador Dali (1904) and has basically one single attaction, the "Teatre Museo Dali". Between 1961 and 1974, Dali himself did create this place, which is really worthwhile to visit. "The museum should not be considered as a museum, it is a gigantic surrealist object", explained its creator. It's a place full of surprises, and you have to walk with open eyes through it to notice everything. Actually I would say I'm not a Dali fan, but even I did spent here about 3 hours. ;-) |
