Than Ilona and me tried to find a way down to the olympic stadium, but we ended up walking near the street, since somehow the parks were all closed, therefore I had called the Montejuic on this day the "mountain of despair".Two days later we were back to check out the Fundacio Joan Miro, which is a great museum - it's worth to spent some there. Palau de la Musica Catalana ... ... considered to be one of Modernism's chief exponents, it was built by architect Lluís Domčnech i Montaner between 1905 and 1908. The main facade has wonderful mosaics, to bad that the light was not that great to capture the work on pictures - but I've tried my best. ... in 1997 it was declared a "World Heritage Site" by UNESCO.
