Ponta de Sao Lourenco
... is the peninsula in the north east of Madeira.
Back on Madeira (arrived around noon by plane) I picked up a rental car again, and headed
after a short stop at Machico straight away to Ponta de Sao Lourenco. There is a small
sandy beach (the only one on the island), and many gorgeous outlook points. On one of the
outlook points I made a picknick and found finally some time to write some postcards.
After a short hike out on the peninsula I drove to Canico de Baixo to my last Hotel during
this vacation, the Hotel Ondamar.
